• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Plesk - AWS Route 53 - Mail problem

Qhiliqq

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.43 Update #1
Hi,

I'm migrated from a "old" server to a new one and also switched to route53 only for dns.
Plesk itself runs on hetzner.
The big problem is, all customers wrote me a mail that email doesn't work on mobile phones in cellular, wifi works.
I can't really figure it out and tested with a demo domain on the server, same problem.
So I switched back my demo domain to a other dns service and voila all mails coming through.
Route53 and the other dns service have exactly the same records.

What could be the problem?

Best regards
philipp

It would be valuable to know what error records appear in Plesk maillog when clients try to use mail when cellular connected.

There is no log, cause the clients aren't able to connect to the server.
They doesn't coming through.

"Unable to connect"

If I turn wifi on and flush the dns on my phone and router, everything works fine.

Strange. Do you assume that this maybe service provider's issue?

Maybe I got it...
Glue records missing on domain provider, maybe there is a loop and cellular mode stops it.
I'm testing now.
