Are there any entries in the backup logs?

http://kb.parallels.com/en/111283

The last time I had this issue, a customer had run a Concrete5 Database backup. The MySQL Dump file had been created without any permissions, which stopped the backup system user accessing the file which in turn failed the server backup process.

You may find log entries that can give you a clue as to why the backups are failing.

here is a part of the logfile:
i try to translate the first errors for you: The domain cannot be activated: Either the domain owner or his subscription is disabled.

Well on saturday only one domain was deactivated and i couldn't activate it. I looked at the domain settings and the domain expires on last sunday, but not on saturday. BUT the box unlimited was checked. I set the year to 2030 and after that, I could activate the domain via command line.

The sql error and the too many connection error appears many times today...

I hope there is no text I shouldn't post here....

We have the same problem, not a server. We have over 50 servers with Parallels, and from Saturday-Sunday, more than half have stopped doing backups.

SOLUTION!

It only happens with some Plesk 11. Plesk 9 backups are doing correctly.

A bit of information. This is the log of the sessions in PMM.

This is the log today, which fails, and does not work. Also is the same yesterday.

I feel better that we are not alone :)

What OS do you use? What was your last update on plesk?

We use Ubuntu 10.04 server LTS. I think the update was 1 day before the error appears.

I am running an update right now.
