• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk backup - fails to store SmartStats files

We have just migrated a Plesk 8.3 install to a new server and found not only does SmartMail loose all it's statistical data (oh and the email time stamps all change) - see my other thread, but it looses all SmartStats data too! Argggh.

I have confirmed this by reviewing the backup files created by Plesk Backup and it clearly fails to store data from the following directory:

\<domain>\statistics\logs\SmarterLogDirectory

So when you restore your SmarterStats will fail.

Solution was to painstakingly copy the data from each domain from the source to target servers... Glad only few clients were using it now!

Has this been corrected in 8.4 or above?
