• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk backup file splits!

My plesk backup sometimes runs more than 1.5gb-2gb

Of late, the backup files have started to SPLIT into 2!!!

pleskbackup.psa --> this will be sometimes 1gb-1.4gb
pleskbackup.psa.1 --> this will be around 400mb - 600mb

Now i dont really mind this, but the problem is how the heck do i RESTORE the backups?

I have no problem restoring the first .psa backup...but when i try to restore the .psa.1 backup, it returns the info.xml missing.

I've tried copying the info.xml from the first backup file into the second backup file....but not successful. Any ideas?

Plesk backup splits backup to more than one file because of files number limitation of zip. You should only start restore from first file and other files will be joined and restored automatically.
