• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Plesk Backup Restoring isn't working

D3nnis3n

Regular Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 22.04
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.44 #3
Multiple times tried to restore a plesk backup of one domain today, always got a success note in Plesk and via e-mail but nothing at the domain was actually changed, neither files, database or configuration, despite everything selected. It's just as if it wouldn't do anything but touch all files once, as the files on the domain get a newer time, but without any changes in the file. Tried multiple other backups, same story.

Originally I only wanted to restore a specific database of the domain, but the option "Database" as described in the FAQ I don't have, only Websites, DNS and Files.

Guess I got a problem now for trusting Plesk Backups. :/
