Plesk Backup Stopping MailEnable

We've been using the Plesk Backup utility for awhile now - it's scheduled to run at 2:00AM in the morning, and everything has been fine.

We've recently had an increase in customers from other countries and different timezones.

We now have a problem because when the Backup runs it stops the Mailenable service and while it may be the middle of the night in our timezone - its the middle of the day in others.

So some of our customers are losing e-mail access for 30 minutes every day while the backup runs.

We've tried changing the backup settings so that the services are NOT stopped, but this causes the backup to hang.

How do others get around this probem?

Unfortunately, there is no solution via Backup utility.
You can try assign another mail server for some domains.
You should disable mail for that domain in Plesk and change MX records.

That sounds an idea worth trying - thank you.
