Plesk + chrooted services

hello Plesk users!

I chrooted all my services, means Apache, MySQL and Qmail, Courier are chrooted (OpenSuSE 10.2). Since we have some people that urgently need the Plesk administration panel, I need to get it working again. All services are in different places (/services/...) how do I configure Plesk to pay attention on the new paths (I've found no config file)?
  • So for httpd, by default the httpdocs are in /srv/www/vhosts/domain.tld/httpdocs but now they should be in /service/httpd/vhosts/domain.tld/httpdocs (this applies not just for the httpdocs folder, it should place the httpd config files like parts of the virtual host configuration also there.
  • Bind is chrooted as well, so the named.conf and needed zone files are also moved to /service/bind...
  • MySQL seems to be a bigger problem, I chrooted it into /service/mysql (symlink mysql.sock to apache's tmp so PHP can connect to the MySQL server) Now, Plesk can't connect to the MySQL server, and if I want to administrate something domain:8443 I get an error saying that it could not connect to the database... so question here, does Plesk have its own MySQL server like it has its own Apache?
  • ... Mail services...

Thanks for help.. I know it's a kind of big problem, but I hope someone knows how to customize Plesk, (I'm not into Plesk (but I'm willing to learn it, just if there's no way I'd be stuck), I like to do the configuration by hand but since we have webdevelopers who insist to have plesk running - I need to get it working again)

kind regards
Rico Kerster
