TITLE:
Plesk creates more backups than configured on FTP
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:
Plesk Onyx, 17.5.3 Update Nr. 7, Debian 8.8, x64
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The backup manager of Plesk creates more backups on my external backup FTP than I configured. My Plesk settings are backed up daily. I set the maximum value to 60 backups, but Plesk creates every day one more (at this moment there are 72).

I do not see any error messages and I don't know whether there is a log to see what's wrong.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Configure Plesk (backup manager) to make a daily backup of Plesk settings and mails on a FTP, maximum files 60. Wait 61 days.
ACTUAL RESULT:
61 files are on the FTP.
EXPECTED RESULT:
Everytime only 60 backups on FTP. This worked fine in Plesk 12.5 and below.

Thanks,

After "only" half a year it's time to give feedback. ;) The error solved itself. I guess the problem was my backup FTP space, not Plesk.
