  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Plesk data seprate hard disk

dimensions

Basic Pleskian
We are planning a new server with Plesk 8.2 and RHEL5

We have 2 HDDs 80GB and 250GB
We would like to install OS and Plesk on the 80 GB.

On the second HDD we want the Plesk data (Websites/mail etc) to reside.

Any idea how we can do this?

Thanking in advance.

Regards,
Parag.

Mount the second HDD to some directory, for example to /var/www/vhosts

sorry, I have pressed "submit button" too soon. :)
So, if you mount the second HDD to /var/www/vhosts no additional changes are required.
Generally the virtual hosts and the mailboxes location is defined in /etc/psa/psa.conf, the values HTTPD_VHOSTS_D, QMAIL_ROOT_D, QMAIL_MAILNAMES_D. All the default directories can be changed.
