  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk Default Homepage

SamirM

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post, though i have been using the PLESK panel for quite sometime. Heres my problem:
I cant seem to get the default homepage of the domain/website, it keeps returning to the PARALLELS default page.
I have tried everything i could find within this forum, but it hasn't help.
And this happens for just 1 or 2 sites , all other domains on the server show their respective homepages
I run a CentOS 64 bit OS with Plesk v 11.0.9
Appreciate all the help

Thnx
Samir

Have you tried reconfiguring your vhosts?

usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all

Are you using nginx?

Also, are you sure you have configured your DNS correctly and allowed enough time for propogation?

Thnx Dave, to answer your other queries, DNS entries are perfect, these sites were working perfectly fine a few days back, and i havent changed anything on the server, and yes I am using ngnix.
I tried the command you gace bit it says" No such file or directoy

samir

Dave, thnx again, just did a DNS lookup, and realized that the A records are pointing to the wrong IP, correcting that now, hope alls well after that

Hope the DNS change works!

For the record, I'd missed off the leading "/" from the command!

In the future, if you have any issues with hosting configuration, it's always worth trying it.

/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all

It reconfigures all the config files that the server uses for the vhosts.
