• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk doesn't see PHP update

I updated PHP from 5.2.17 to 5.3.10 via the Web Platform Installer on the server but Plesk won't recognize it. I can't select it from the General Hosting Settings menu in Plesk. Any idea why? Or how to get Plesk to see the update? I'm assuming that it's because 5.3 is installed in C:\Program Files(x86)\PHP opposed to C:\Program Files(x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional. So I went the domain in IIS Manager and registered the new version and if you go to http://loveacadiana.org/info.php it says 5.3.10. So should I just ignore Plesk? What's the proper way to do this?

Thanks

You can try to reinstall PHP5.3. Uninstall it with

msiexec /x {91D771D0-B9C1-4adf-9944-0601E5751B93}

and then install it back by Autoinstaller.
I hope it will help.

I ran that line and it told me that it wasn't installed. I know this is a dumb question, but what exactly is autoinstaller?
