Resolved Plesk Email Security DNSBL is red

Any idea why DNSBL is red? I think I have configured everything correctly.

Have the same problem since the update to Obsidian 18.0.40.

If you put your mouse over the red sign you see a message wich states in wich list you are blacklisted.

Hi, I have the same issue. I've removed DNSBL setting from general Email Server Settings, because this caused issues.

But now all domains give a red DNSBL in Plesk Email Security config check. Hovering over the red sign shows several spamhaus.org servers. However, when I manually check the domains and IPs at spamhaus.org, they are NOT LISTED!

So why is this DNSBL sign still red? Any help much appreciated!

Can the spamhaus.org servers that are listed in the DNSBL settings be contacted from the Linux command line, e.g. by
# curl <domainname of spamhaus server>
or
# ping <domainname of spamhaus server>
?

@Peter Debik no, they can't! If I ping e.g. zen.spamhaus.org, it reroutes to the plesk server! How can I resolve this?

Maybe your provider was blocked by spamhaus and cannot access the DNSBL. That's the case for Hetzner, for example.

EDIT: Or this is the problem: Stop using zen.spamhaus.org as a DNSBL example on the Mail Server Settings page

I fixed it, I installed and enabled DNS caching (BIND DNS).
