We are happy to announce our Plesk Guru Program!

This is a re-branding of our Plesk Expert Program to avoid misunderstanding Plesk University Experts.

    Plesk Guru Program

    About

The Plesk Guru Program is made up of knowledgeable individuals across the Plesk Community who are passionate about our products. Our Gurus are recognized for their high level of technical expertise, their willingness to participate in interactive conversations with other members of the Plesk Community and for being leaders in their proficiency of our products.

Plesk Gurus are independent of Plesk and share their thoughts and opinions in our Forums and online community pages such as Facebook and Twitter. Gurus offer valuable advice based on their experience and come from a wide variety of backgrounds including business owners, programmers, Plesk Partners and individual users of our products. The varied background of Plesk Gurus helps guide conversations that take place every day in our fast growing Plesk Online Community.

    Why be a Plesk Guru?

    · Public recognition on the Plesk Guru area of our website and an official program graphic for use in the Plesk Forums and other approved materials
    · Direct contact to select Plesk personnel
    · Opportunity to network with other Plesk Gurus
    · Exclusive sneak-peek into Plesk products, invitation to Plesk events, and free Plesk branded apparel and gear

    What it takes:

o Active participation in the Plesk Forum
o Following Plesk online and frequently sharing posts/tweets.
o Acting as a Plesk evangelist at events, in social media, on other Forums, etc.
o Identifying issues regarding Plesk, and bringing them to Plesk support’s attention
o Identifying other issues on the forums that should be addressed by Plesk
o Providing positive contributions to help other users be successful with Plesk products
o Maintaining loyalty to Plesk by publicly referring to its products in a positive manner.
o Providing constructive feedback to Plesk personnel on how to improve our products.

Want to join the Plesk Guru Program?

Potential candidates for the Plesk Guru Program are those that have a proven record of providing valuable technical advice within the community and have demonstrated long term commitment to regularly participating in Plesk technical support forums. If you would like to become a Plesk Guru, you can either apply directly yourself or nominate a fellow community member. Once the PG team has received the application or nomination, potential candidates undergo a careful validation process in which a team of Plesk employees analyzes whether or not the candidate fulfills the criteria of what it means to be a PG.

    Rules and regulation

Thank you for your interest in the Plesk Guru program, a program operated by Plesk and its affiliated companies (“Plesk”). The Plesk Guru Program is designed to recognize outstanding thought and technical leadership in Plesk dedicated community.

All applications for membership to, and all participation in, the Plesk Guru program, are subject to these Plesk Guru program Rules and Regulations (these “Rules”). Additionally, all participation in the Plesk Guru program is subject to the then-current Plesk Terms of Use available at www.plesk.com (the “Terms of Use”), which are hereby incorporated into these Rules by reference. In the event of any conflict between these Rules and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use will govern.

    1. Application and Invitation

Membership in the Plesk Guru program is on an invitation-only basis. Candidates for the Plesk Guru include members who have a track record of participating actively in the forums to share their technical expertise, real-world knowledge, and experience of working with the Plesk product.

Existing Plesk Guru program members may nominate members as Plesk Guru candidates from time to time. To be considered for membership in the Plesk Guru program, a member (whether or not nominated by a member of the Plesk Guru program) must prepare and submit an application. Plesk will review the candidacy of those who have submitted an application. All invitations to join the Plesk Guru program will come from Plesk, and Plesk will determine whom to invite to join the Plesk Guru program in its sole discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, Plesk shall not and will not be obliged to invite any new members at any given time. It is in the full responsibility and option of Plesk to invite or not invite any new candidate or exclude any candidate or Plesk Guru program members at Plesk’s sole discretion.

    2.Participation
The Plesk Guru program does not require any involuntary commitments from its members. All use of the Plesk Guru program graphic is subject to brand guidelines and any other rules for use of the graphic that Plesk may make available to Plesk Guru program members from time to time.

    4. Termination of Membership

Like all other provisions of these Rules, Plesk may change these provisions from time to time at Plesk’s sole discretion. If Plesk seeks to implement changes to these Rules that would cause Plesk Guru program members to be required to pay Plesk any fees or other amounts for their participation in the Plesk Guru program, Plesk will provide notice to then-existing Plesk Guru program members of any such changes and allow them a period of time to cease their participation in the Plesk Guru program before any such requirement to pay fees or other amounts to Plesk is implemented.

    6. No Sponsorship or Endorsement
The extension of an invitation to a person or entity to join the Plesk Guru program, and a person or entity’s participation in the Plesk Guru program does not imply that Plesk sponsors or endorses such person or entity or any products or services offered by such person or entity or any third party with which such person or entity may be affiliated. Other than displaying a Plesk Guru program graphic in the forums in the manner permitted by Section 3 of these Rules, Plesk Guru program members may not make any statements, use any Plesk trademarks, or otherwise take any actions, in a manner inconsistent with the foregoing in this Section 6 or in any manner implying that the Plesk Pilot program member acts for or on behalf of Plesk or represents Plesk in any manner.

    7. Changes to the Rules and to the Plesk Guru program
Subject to Section 5 of these Rules, Plesk reserves the right to modify, update, and otherwise change these Rules and the Plesk Guru program from time to time in its sole discretion (including, without limitation, by adding or removing features or benefits of participating in the Plesk Guru program, and by terminating or ceasing to operate the Plesk Guru program in whole or in part). If Plesk makes a change to these Rules, it will post the updated Rules on its Web site and will update the “last updated” date set forth at the top of these Rules. The updated Rules will then apply to all existing and new participation in the Plesk Guru program from and after the time on which the updated Rules are posted.
