• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Just an update to my last thread (which I cannot see ??)

I suceeded upgrading using the autoinstall to 9.2.2 (changing also from qmail to postfix...)

but
1. my php.ini settings which I did were destryoed by the update, so I had to redo them (I use magento as shop and this required some changes in the php.ini for example)

2. I still cannot use the plesk using my browser, meanwhil I am not fast enought to accept the terms of condition (timeout is as sai around 2-3 sec) and come back to the login
when I slowly enter my login data I immediatly return to the login, when I am fast I get to the next page (currently the accept page) -- before the update I suceeded once being fast neough to get to the main mehnu, but waiting for more then 2-3 sec return to the login after doing any action which changes the page
applies to firefox and to IE --

is there any timeout setting which I can lookup ... plesk never worked on the deliver preconfig server (setup done by strato.de a default virtual server) --

help needed.

yes thats what I didd (after beeing able to click fast to this point,
I also changed from 30 to 50,
if I see a list with login below session tme is displayed as 00:00:00 on the right part.
but if I come back to this point 50 is display as changed.
I also checked all timeouts in php.ini etc. incresaed them .
ALl is fine for other web pages magento runnng vbulletin also, only plesk has this problem

if found "To allow IP changes during one client session (available only on Windows Hosting):"

that might be a problem as we use a router which has two outgoing connections (DSL + cablesurf) with load balancing, and can switch between them (I am not sure if this is the case here),
is there a way to change the setting without using the plesk panel (Its impossible to keep the below 2 sec rate which seems to be varing), can I check and change it using the console (putty) ?

wie found the problem its our dynamic load balancing router, IPs can toggle between clicks on the forms.
I cannot find the switch to toggle this of in the plesk panel (ony the windows panels has this ???) we use a linux
server.
Is there a ini setting where we can allow for ip changes in the linux version (suse suse 11.1) ?
We cannot change our router settings for use of only one fixed IP (as I have to use different workstations to access the server (outside our company -- e.g. strato)).
we need for LINUX (our sessions can switch ips everytime on every post thats the 2 sec interval I spoke of aktually it was rnd and maybe 2 sec is the interval it keeps a connection):
To allow IP changes during one client session (available only on Windows Hosting):

1. Go to Home > Session Idle Time (in the Security group).
2. Select the Allow IP changes during one session check box. This option will allow customers with dynamic IP addresses and unstable Internet connection to work with Parallels Plesk Panel at the cost of increasing the security risks.
3. Click OK.

I was able to change the dual router (netgear) not to do dynamic balancing for the port 8443 and it works now, by adding a rule for a prefered route.
