Question Plesk MarioDB Update Error

Hello everyone,

I am desperately trying to add a database update, but somehow it does not work.

I have the following data:

Operating System: CentOS Linux 7.4.1708 (Core)
Plesk Version: Version 17.8.11 Update # 5
MariaDB Version: 5.5.56

I absolutely need at least MySQL 5.6, because I have to install Magento 2.

I have tried the instructions of Plesk (How to upgrade MySQL 5.5 to 5.6/5.7 or MariaDB 5.5 to 10.0/10.1/10.2 on Linux) twice, but each time the server is destroyed and MariaDB provides the following code at reboot:

code = exited status = 7

and MariaDB can not start afterwards.

Maybe someone has a tip

Hello @xx1Andy1xxx ,

Check your my.cnf for customizations. Looks like there are some configuration params which are not valid for 10.x MariaDB.
