  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question plesk migrate hands at 'starting - preparing migration'

mudassar

Basic Pleskian
I have a server set up with around 40 domains which I would like to move over to another server. Both are windows (2019 to 2022) and both plesk.

however after adding the details to migrate, plesk just hangs at the next step. It never gives me an option on what to migrate. Constantly at the loading screen.

Are there any ports etc that need to be opened for this to be done correctly?
firewall is disabled as is antivirus

I would make sure you refer the plesk migration and transfer guide:

That document will tell you which ports are required and what not. As long as everything checked out, I would recommend looking through the logs and event viewer to see if you can find anything that can provide you with more details.
