Issue Plesk migration - Dovecot is not installed on the destination server. Fail

Hello.

I want to migrate a subscription from:
Server A. Plesk versión: 12.5.30 update 55# with Postfix and Dovecot mail service active. SO: Debian 8.6
to Server B . Plesk Onyx: 17.0.17 update 9# with Postfix and Dovecot mail service active. SO: Debian 8.6

When I tray to migrate the subscriptions from server A to Server B the migration tool show this error message:
Dovecot is not installed on the destination server.
Please install Dovecot by using Plesk Installer.

But its not true, becasue I have dovecot and postfix in both servers.

What can I do?

On destination server check that dovecot is listed as installed in Tools&Settings->Server Components
Click "Refresh" button there.
Try to reinstall it with

# plesk installer --select-release-current --remove-component dovecot
# plesk installer --select-release-current --install-component dovecot

Oh man.
Something was wrong to reinstall Dovecot. I cant acces to Plesk panel again. Error 403 Forbidden

First at all. I saw that dovecot was installed.
Then I've followed your steps and I try to reinstall it.
Remove firts.

plesk installer --select-release-current --remove-component dovecot

Very strange dependences:

Removing plesk-core package looks dramatical.
In my case on CentOS7 only dovecot related packages were removed...
Now I can suggest you recover your plesk with

1. wget https://installer.plesk.com/plesk-installer
2. chmod +x plesk-installer
3. ./plesk-installer

Well.
I've reinstall the server and install a clean copy o Plesk Onyx.
I try again with de Migration and now I dont have Dovecot warnings but after migraten 1 suscription it shows this error.

Migration tools tried to perform operation in 3 attempts: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xf1 in position 17: ordinal not in range(128)

What means?

What means?

Most probably that one of account login name has non-ascii symbols like ö. Check it and try to rename.

Looks like an known software issue PMT-3334. It will be fixed in nearest Plesk migrator update.
