• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

plesk not accepting my remote ftp login :/

EvolutionCrazy

Basic Pleskian
I've a server that i want to use to place backups using "FTP account for remote repository"

the login on the remote server is structured like:

[email protected]

when i try to use that login on the plesk panel, plesk block me and say

"You can use lowercase alphanumeric, dash and underscore symbols in the login name.
The login name should begin with an alphabetical simbol.
The password should not contain the login name"...

now i'm asking: why this??? how can plesk block me configuring a remote ftp???

how can i evade this limit in the "Remote ftp repository"?
I cannot change my username on the backup server...
