• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I have installed Plesk 9.3 and got the following message

Congratulations!
Plesk has been successfully installed on your server.
To complete the system configuration, please proceed to URL:
https://localhost.localdomain:8443/ or
https://127.0.0.1:8443/
Use the login name 'admin' and password 'setup'.

Further, use the following commands to start and stop Plesk:
"/etc/init.d/psa start" and
"/etc/init.d/psa stop" respectively.

All Plesk control panel documentation is available at
http://www.parallels.com/en/products/plesk/docs

This is a hosted server, which I don't have access to local host. How do I complete the configuration with out localhost access?

Do you have any other real IP assigned to server except 127.0.0.1? Also hostname should be in FQDN format.

Thanks, I figured it out, netstat -a showed 8443 bound to all IP, but I had iptables blocking access to it, and the installation message lead me to believe that it was only accessible via the localhost address. Once i disabled iptables, I was able to access it via my regular IP.

Plesk 9.3?

You mentioned above the you installed Plesk 9.3? Is version 9.3 officially available now?
