  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Plesk not installing auto installing updates (18.0.25, 18.0.26)

MaartenCombell

New Pleskian
Hi,

I notice that my Plesk installation (now running on 18.0.25) isn't automatically installing the last 2 updates (18.0.25, 18.0.26). But the setting "Automatically install Plesk updates (Recommended) " is enabled. Is it normal behaviour for Plesk to not install these small updates or am I missing something here? The previous 18.0.25 wasn't automatically installing so I decided to do the install myself.

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps you are using the mirror of the official repository that your service provider configured and this mirror has not been updated yet?
What is content of file /root/.autoinstallerrc ?

Yes my settings are the same as the ones in your screenshot. When grepping in the autoinstaller log on "18.0.26" I get to see this:

Plesk update comes gradually, therefore, perhaps it just has not reached you yet. You should wait a while.

Hi, the strange this is that the Plesk panel sees this update (see screenshot).
plesk_version.png

But I can wait a few weeks to see if Plesk will automatically install the newest version. These are my update settings:

Indeed, manually you can install the update even now, and the automatic update will be installed within a month of rolling.
