Hi RobertoM,

to investigate issues/errors/problems on linux systems, you should consider to inspect the corresponding log - files ( in your case: /var/log/plesk/ ) and because Plesk supports several operating systems, you should consider to add ALWAYS YOUR current operating system in threads/posts, where you desire help from the Plesk Community. :)

If you experience issues/errors/problems with the "autoinstaller" from Plesk over the Plesk Control Panel, you should consider to test, if the corresponding CLI - command ( logged in as user "root" over SSH ) works:
Code:
plesk installer --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --install-component base

Pls. make sure, that there are no other installer - processes running, which you are able to check with the command:
Code:
ps aux | grep installer
In case that there are orphaned installer - PIDs, you are able to "kill" them with the example command:
Code:
kill -9 PID-NUMBER-FROM-YOUR-PS-SEARCH-COMMAND

Ok, Thank you, it works... and I forgot post my OS... is Centos 6.9

One more question .... how long time requires the -Downloading plesk installer-? my -downloading plesk installer- never ends :(

Thank you again

My first try was similiar to yours, after that i have find the PID of the installer and killed them.
After that i have relaunched a new try over GUI and then the installer was updated inside few seconds :)

Thank you but I did that several times, the reply of UFHH01 help me to find the PID and kill the first try but the second, third... etc it's the same, the -downloading plesk installer- never ends

Hi RobertoM,

"normally" the webinstaller - session will close after 30 minutes of inactivity, but in case that you could have issues/errors/problems, Plesk is sometimes not able to finish the PID successfull, which might result in an orphaned PID. A traceback could help you to investigate, why the process couldn't be finished successfully. ;)

Now it works and it's installed the update.... after several tries

While the update was running, it shows that there was errors, if there are critical, where can I access the update log?

Thank you so much!!!!
