• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Plesk Onyx Git user?

teha

New Pleskian
Hello everyone,

the new Git extension is nice and works fine.

I just wonder if it is possible to create SFTP users who are just able to access the git subfolder of my domain?

Currently, I have the main SFTP user who has access to httpdocs, git etc. subfolders. Creating a new user with "/git" as main folder does not work (error: username or password is not correct when trying to pull a working copy).

I think this may be simple but can somebody help me with this? I would like to create a user who is only able to access to Git repositories.

Thank you very much in advance!

Best regards,
teha

Does anyone know about a change in the past which I could use here? Any Plesk update? Thanks.
