Is it possible to run some scripts before and after update/upgrade?

Please, could you explain how this can do this in Plesk Panel? I have problem with cygwin & plesk panel when Plesk Panel is update proccess, I need turn off cygwin before update then after update turn on back (automatic).

You can write own script where you can describe needed commands in necessary order.

If run them as scheduled task, requires exact start time and end time. This method not quite good in this case.
