  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

TITLE:
Plesk php.ini web editor converts to CRLF in Linux systems
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:
Plesk Onyx Versión 17.8.11, CentOS Linux 7.6.1810 (Core)‬, x86_64 GNU/Linux
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
I noticed the web editor in the panel, where you can edit php.ini settings, converts the file to DOS Newlines CRLF instead preserving it as the original LF Unix ending.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  • Edit and save any change using the php.ini web editor in the Plesk panel
  • Chek the file format has changed: file /opt/plesk/php/7.3/etc/php.ini
  • if you get "ASCII text, with CRLF line terminators" it means the Plesk editor is changing the file format from Unix to DOS, which is bad.
  • The original file before any modification has no CRLF terminators. You can compare with any fresh installation and even with the build in /etc/php.ini file.
ACTUAL RESULT:
php.ini files are being converted from LF to CRLF.
EXPECTED RESULT:
php.ini files should not be converted from their original terminators.
