• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue plesk-php71-fpm service freezes constantly

King555

Silver Pleskian
The plesk-php71-fpm service on my server freezes constantly on several days of a week (usually Mondays to Wednesdays, but mainly on Tuesdays). It does not crash, it just does not respond and so my complete site does not respond. The only solution is to manually restart the service via console (or via Plesk web interface).

Why doesn't Watchdog restart the service? The monitoring is enabled, of course.

And how can I find out the reason for it?

Start by looking at the log file /var/log/plesk-php71-fpm/error.log and search for any log entries at the time of the occurrence. Then search the Plesk Support page at Plesk Help Center for relevant articles that match your problem. And/or post your log here.
Also check your syslog entries for any indications about what happened at the time of problem.
