• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk restore not bringing back 1 folder

I know this is a tired subject here so I appreciate any attention that this issue will get already! Here's what's wrong:

1.I backed up one domain on my server from within the domain control panel because I was about to make some changes. That domain contained all the usual files/folders and one folder "data" outside the web directory for security reasons. "data" was at the same level as httpdocs and httpsdocs.

2. When I restore, everything except "data" comes back fine.

3. From the size of the backup as compaired to the previous backup, it appears that the data from "data" IS contained in the backup file.

4. I tried to restore using the command line, but was unable to create a successful map file, on restoration getting the following error:

## ERROR in line 1: bad client login

Any ideas?
