Please beaware of a breaking change in the REST API on the next Plesk release (18.0.62).Starting from Plesk Obsidian 18.0.62, requests to REST API containing the Content-Type header with a media-type directive other than “application/json” will result in the HTTP “415 Unsupported Media Type” client error response code. - Able to choose MTA (Qmail/Postfix)
- Able to choose webmail software (Horde/@mail)
- PHP over CGI/FastCGI
- Graylisting
- More stable/reliable updates

The timeline is missing, but one would assume a release at the end of the year.

Last I heard was January 09 (end of Q4 08 / Start of Q1 09) for Plesk 9.0
