• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk server migration - exclude / avoid mysqldumps

New Pleskian
Hi there,

Is there a chance to skip the mysqldumps when using the plesk migration manager? In my case I have old Plesk 9.5.x servers that I need to migrate to new Plesk11.5 servers and both servers will use shared mysql db servers so no transfer of databases is required, thus I'd like to skip them (taking a long time to be exported just to sit around and not being used as well as filling up my disks).

I've read about this article: http://kb.odin.com/en/114045 - however, I'm not sure it'll do what I'm after.

Any ideas?

Cheers!
