• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Plesk Upgrade Error because of PHP5

I have Plesk 8.2.0 installed on my Linux RHEL4. Version of PHP ws 4.3.9 and I tried to install php5 via Linux command line. I needed PHP5 because I wanted to install last version of MediaWiki and it needed PHP5.

I successfully installed PHP5 by compiling and building it from its source package and Plesk identified it.

Now when I want to use Plesk Updater to update my Plesk components, it fails and gives an error that means it has problem with PHP5 and needs PHP 4.3.9. What must I do?

Ive got PHP 5.2.x packages in my archive if that helps. Plesk reads the RPM database to determine what version of PHP is installed, so I suspect that might be part of your problem. That or the way you built PHP isnt compatible with what you need to do.
