• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Issue Plesk Upgrade via SSH not possible - RepoMDError: requested datatype filelists not available

Alexander Liebrecht

Basic Pleskian
Hi Community,

Unfortunately, because of the not possible upgrade to MariaDB 10.2, even worse has happened today. My Plesk is now not available in the browser.

Via Console I can not install or upgrade Plesk currently.

This error is displayed to me.

Code:
RepoMDError: requested datatype filelists not available

ERROR: The Yum utility failed to install the required packages.
Attention! Your software might be inoperable.
Please contact product technical support.

I still have Centos 7.3 and previously Plesk Onyx was installed.

How can I fix the problem?

Thanks for helping in advance.

Please try to run

# plesk installer --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --upgrade-installed-components

and note, MariaDB 10.2 is not supported by Plesk yet.

Thanks Igor for the Help.

A somewhat older server snapshot had saved me and so I realized it on the vServer.

Now Plesk and my domains are working again. Unfortunately, some of the data that was not contained in the snapshot was lost. I can live with that.

Thanks again.
