  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

We have a few hosting account which which several databases.
For some account, it's needed to access to databases without being able to login to the control panel (to much settings).
Is there any way we can create a user which only has the option to use PhpMyAdmin for all databases for that domain?
Or can anyone help me with a solution for this?

Regards,
Tim Van Engeland

I would also be interested in learning how to do this. Although I am guessing the reason for a user name and password for each user is a security feature, I have found that some of my people dont want to mess with the added logins.

Thanks,

Is there a way for a user to login directly to phpmyadmin bypassing plesk even if the db & db user was created in plesk?

You can just install a regular version of phpMyAdmin and use that to access all accounts. Make sure you keep it up to date though.
