  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Plesk visit Statistics are wrong

paulmac

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 20.04
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.42
Plesk statistics for my website show 381 visits for October 1st yet statcounter only shows 6 visits. Plesk is calculating well over.

The same is true for all my hosted websites in plesk going back many months Why is Plesk so far out ?

for that one would have to know wether you are using awstats or webalizer.
beside that, they are log analyzers. statcounter i guess uses some js or something to track.
so it probably doesnt count bots and people that dont have js activated.

What is counted as visits? Does statcounter define it in the same way as awstats/webalizer?
(e.g. how long do two accesses with the same [long-lived] session id have to be apart to be counted as separate visits?)
