Plesk won't online, only on server machine

Hello,
I run Plesk on a windows server 2003 machine and frequently access it over the net (ip address + :8443/login.php3). I have for almost 1 year, but recently it quit loading-+ have to use remote desktop to connect to the server to use the Plesk control panel. I have restarted plesk and the server, but no luck. It just never loads! I am not extremely experienced, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much in advance.

Since you say you can use the Plesk control panel through remote desktop but it doesn't work from your workstation when you access it through https://IP:8443, the first thing that crosses my mind is a firewall blocking port 8443.
