Plesk8 WebUsers and FTP

Hi,

I upgraded from Plesk 7.5 to 8 on a Suse 9.3 System from 1und1 and have a funny problem now.

I created a new webuser via the plesk control interface.
I tested the account with an ftp program and its working.
Now I am going to /etc/passwd and changed the home of this account from
/web_users/account to /httpdocs/directory

This was working with 7.5 but is now not working anymore with plesk 8.
If I try to connect via ftp after that change I get the message wrong password.

Well this error message is wrong for sure cause it works if the directory is /web_users/account

plesk 8 seems to prevent me from changing the home and login in then.

Can someone please help me?

got the same problem.. anyways.. plesk should implement an additional field with the path to set or the folder to choose.. as it is in confixx.

Yes I see but I have no idea how to fix this problem.
I am wondering that not more users have it.

This is not solved for me with version 8.0.1

Anyone an idea now?
