  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Pointers prestashop mutlistore

New Pleskian
Hello,

I have since a couple of days a new vps whit Plesk.
My old vps is running whit direct admin.
On this old server I have a webshop whit prestashop.
This shop is a multistore (1 main domain and 7 pointers)
each of this pointers have a own shop (not the main shop)
Its set up like this.
main domain (main store)
Than I park the other domains, and make in direct admin a pointer for each domain.
In my webshop, I create for each pointer a store whit domain.
when I enter 1 of the pointers I get the store of that one (each store has specified products, the main store has them all)
When I do the same in Plesk, I get only the main store or the plesk page
So plesk isn't open the store from the domain.
What can I do to solve the problem, so that I get every pointer running as a individual shop whit my main shop as only back office.

Please who knows the answer???

Wouldn't you get a better answer if you posted this at the prestashop forums?

No,
This is a problem I get in Plesk.
On my other vps running whit Direct Admin it works perfect.
Only in Plesk I get the problem that I always will return to the main shop or plesk page.
The shop on the new server is a hard copy of the other shop.

As I read your query, it doesn't have techinical specifications! It would be important to understand how prestashop maps the different stores to different domains, and get the technical requirements for such a feature then see if plesk has any missing ..

My first guess would be through .htaccess, just ensure you have copied over the .htaccess file from your old vps to the new one ..
I for one, have no idea of how prestashop works so I can't really advice it's technical requirements ...But I believe (from there forums) am sure someone has already had such an experience and can advice easily than here ...

Thank you Adbi,

I am hoping that someone can help me.
I have worked whit prestashop for 5 years, and I think that I can say that I know what I am doing.
This Is my first time that I worked whit Plesk.
In direct admin its very easy.
just setup a pointer, create a new store in the backoffice enter the url, and the shop is online.
in Plesk I do the same, but I get no acces to the new shop, only to the main shop or the plesk main page

I presume you are using Nginx as a reverse proxy, right? If so, disable it and that I guess should sort you out ...
