  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Poodle fix for Plesk Onyx 17.5 / Debian 8?

King555

Regular Pleskian
When I had a Debian 7 system with Plesk 12.0, I downloaded a script from CVE-2014-3566: POODLE Attack Exploiting SSL 3.0 Fallback to fix the "Poodle" vulnerability. Now I have Debian 8 with Plesk Onyx 17.5 (with latest update).

One of the entries on my current server to-do list is running that script and fixing some problems which I mentioned here: After running poodle fix I cannot connect to SFTP and secured mail

In my bookmarks there is still the link to SSL POODLE / SSLv3 bug (which was mentioned in that thread).

The script on the KB page seems to be gone, but according to the checking script from there my system is not vulnerable.

Can I remove the to-do entry and the bookmark? ;)
