• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Postfix Forward Through Relayhost

Evan F

New Pleskian
I've given up on trying to filter mail through my own server, so I'm running everything in and out through Logicnow Max Mail. Each domain in Max Mail is given it's own outbound smtp relay, which I have configured in postfix via sender_dependent_relayhost_maps for each respective domain. This works great, except when a mailbox is configured to forward to another address that is not hosted on our server. When a message is forwarded, postfix is attempting to deliver the message directly and is not running it through the relay.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get postfix to also forward mail out via the correct relayhost?
