ThomasV1

New Pleskian
good evening,

how can i change the maximal_queue_lifetime?

because the standard seems to be 5 days which is much to long!
i want set it to a time from some hours...

i already tried to find the setting in the /etc/postfix/main.cf but i can't find there :(

i hope someone can help me!

good night and much greetings from bavaria germany
thomas

Just add something like

maximal_queue_lifetime = 1h

at the end of /etc/postfix/main.cf

On my test Plesk 12 server I see default setting:

# postconf | grep maximal_queue_lifetime
maximal_queue_lifetime = 5d

After adding new value I see

# postconf | grep maximal_queue_lifetime
maximal_queue_lifetime = 1h

hey igor!
thank you for your answer!
will i have no problems that this config file is overwritten by plesk when i change something via the web interface?
