• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Forum timezone setting – automatic daylight saving adjustment is missing

I noticed that the Plesk Forum apparently does not provide an option to select a dynamic timezone such as Europe/Berlin.

For Germany/Berlin and many other countries, the UTC offset changes depending on daylight saving time:
  • Winter (CET): UTC+1
  • Summer (CEST): UTC+2
Since the forum settings only allow selecting a fixed UTC offset, users have to manually change their timezone from UTC+1 to UTC+2 and back again whenever daylight saving time changes.

It would be much better to support IANA timezones, such as Europe/Berlin, instead of fixed UTC offsets. This would allow the forum to automatically handle daylight saving time and always display the correct local time.

Could this functionality please be added to the Plesk Forum? It would be a useful improvement for all users living in regions that observe daylight saving time.

But it seems to work already. In my profile/preferences it says "UTC+1 CET", but although we are now in UTC+2 in Germany, the times here are correct, both the relative ("12 minutes ago") and the absolute times.
