• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Hi All,

I have a plesk server with Postfix not sending mail from yesterday evening.

I am mad searching for the reason but I can't get it work. The errors I see on logs are:

Jul 21 12:30:40 delta postfix-local[10342]: File .qmail is writable for group or others
Jul 21 12:30:40 delta postfix-local[10342]: Wrong permissions for .qmail

I can't undestand this error, I am using Postfix and so I don't know how to solve it.

Greeted in advance for the help

It means...

It means the file is writable by the group and/or any other user.

Check file permissions on the directory (ls -lah), and you should see something like this:

-rw-rw-rw-

The first 3 permissions are for the owner, the second for the group, third for all others.

You should remove write permissions for the group using the command:

chmod g-w <filename>

or for all others

chmog o-w <filename>

Hope this helps
