TITLE:
Error: FTP host resolve error after Updating to Plesk 17.8.11
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:
Plesk Onyx 17.8.11
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Hi @AlL,

After updating to the current version, access to the backup manager is no longer possible.
The backup manager was configured to auto-backup to an external FTP repository.

Open the URL https://yourDomain.com:8443/admin/backup fails with the error message: Error: FTP host resolve error.

It´s not possible to see the List of Backups.
The scheduled backup continues to work and the files are still stored on the FTP.

Grettings, Daniel
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Configure a automatic Backup
2. Update to Plesk 17.8.11
ACTUAL RESULT:
Message: Error: FTP host resolve error after trying to access:
https://yourDomain.com:8443/admin/backup
EXPECTED RESULT:
List of all created backups
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
YOUR EXPECTATIONS FROM PLESK SERVICE TEAM:
Help with sorting out

Hello. Thank you for the report. The issue will be fixed in one of the nearest updates. As a workaround you could try to go by the following link https://yourDomain:8443/admin/backup/ftp-settings/ and uncheck 'Use FTP storage '
Thanks for your reply.
Even when i disable the Setting and click on save, i get the same message.
The Setting was saved, but Plesk redirects me to the Plesk Overview (and shows the Errormessage) instead of the List of Backups.

---------------

Daniel

Could you try to remove this file /usr/local/psa/PMM/tasks/tasks.db? It contains a list of completed backup tasks.
