PPWSE - special character munging

Can anyone offer a suggestion?

We have several customers using the Plesk Pprofessional WebSite Editor, and all of them are having problems.

The issue appears to be that any if there are any special characters (e.g. &copy, &reg, &#8226 - I'm leaving off the ";" to make sure they don't get parsed in the message) in the page, PPWSE converts them into the actual character (e.g. a blob for &#8226) in the html. This would be fine but web browsers then render them as two "euro" symbols with some random thing inbetween.

Can anybody help? We have the latest PPWSE software installed according to the Updater.

Faris.

Apologies - I could have sworn I had updated this:

The solution is very simple. Use UTF-8 encoding on the page instead of latin-1 or whatever else it might be by default.

This resolves the problem completely.
