problem server ftp

I have do a total backup from old server, and I have build a new server and a complete restore, after I have do a upgrade from plesk 8.2 to 8.6, is all ok but the server ftp don't run... I have installed psa-proftpd but if try to connect to ftp the response is "421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection"... I don't find where i can to start it...
 
resolved...
i must to set the hostname to /etc/hosts...
I have put 127.0.0.1 whit my nameserver and after restart xined is all ok...
