If you not done so already try again, it's possible that at the time the when you were connecting to the mirror it timed out. Otherwise replace out the repo with one from Download MariaDB Server - MariaDB.org (change the mirror to be one local to your server)

Yes, it was a minor issue with the datacenter resolvers.
