• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Problem with migrating from Plesk ubuntu to Plesk ubuntu

New Pleskian
I am using ecc2 instances for Plesk and want to migrate customers from one Plesk server to to another but the keys are not able to be authorized. By default you don't have private keys stored in an ec2 instance and public keys are stored in /root/.ssh/authorized_keys and tried the public keys but was getting format error.

Failed to connect to the source server 'source' by SSH: not a valid OPENSSH private key file

I'd just ssh to the target server and use ssh-keygen to generate a new keypair, then append the contents of /root/.ssh/id_rsa.pub to /root/.ssh/authorized_keys on the source server.
