• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Problem with Register and Extras feature

Hi All,

We are just installing our first Plesk server.

I am not sure if anyone else has a problem with the Register and Extras options on the control panels. These go to myplesk.com and offer their services. I have contacted Plesk who say that these options cannot be turned off.

Do other users accept that their users are able to go to myplesk.com and buy services, or is there a way around this. I am sure there must be but so far we have had no success in stopping this access. I am sure there must be some way of stopping this otherwise I feel it is a very dubious feature of Plesk and would definately make us change to a new control panel software.

What do other users do to stop access to Plesk and people buying their services instead of from yourselves.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Darryl
