there're a simple method for configure a promotional footer without use API?

File config, file, or other method?

Hi there.

You can change promo-footer directly at DB, but anyway you have to define sites which will show promo-footer. It can be done only by API.
What problem with API usage? It's a simple snippet with 10 lines of code...
