Hello everyone!
My server crashed due to an hacker attack. I thought to be safe because I made a backup every week of every account.
Now that the server is up again with Plesk 7.5 reloaded (as before) I would like to restore those backups but... I CAN'T!!!!

I followed all the instructions, but I get a: UNABLE TO OPEN INPUT FILE

Here is the screen capture:
/usr/local/psa/bin/psarestore -f backup_domain1__2006.07.26_05.00 --single-domain-mode --domain-name=xxxx --domain-ip=xx.xx.xx.xx --client-login=xxxxx

I put some xxx text for security reasons.
PLEASE HELP ME!! My business is going down!!!

Hi imagenow,

Have you tried restoring another backup file to see if you get the same error.

Also what os version and plesk hotfix version are you using?

Same with every backup file.

This is the actual version:

psa v7.5.4_build75051014.16 os_FedoraCore 3

Do i need to update?

Can you post the backup code you were using to create the backup files?

Also did you let the backups shut the serverdown while they ran or did you run the backup without letting it shutdown (i.e nostop)?

Well... I did nothing....
At the end I was able to restore, right now.
The only thing I've made is to let the server take the file directly from another machine via FTP. And it worked.
I tryed without any knowledge or direction, just I try, and worked.

Now I'm wondering what to do with the PAYED support service i ordered 30 hr. ago from SW SOFT and still waiting to be contacted......

That's really bad....

glad you got it fixed imagenow :D .. must have been a scary situation to be in. Is everyting exactly as it was?
