Daphne

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
CentOS Linux 7.9.2009 (Core)
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.49 Update #2, last updated on Jan 11, 2023 01:04 PM
Hi,

How do I fix this?

For new subscriptions in plesk set up with wordpress using gravity forms
Plesk is not hosting the DNS.
Plesk is not hosting the email.

Email from web forms sent to a Google hosted email account is turning the error below.

<[email protected]>: host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[142.251.163.26] said:

550-5.7.25 [ my IP that I am hosting the domain at ] The IP address sending this message does not
have a 550-5.7.25 PTR record setup, or the corresponding forward DNS entry
does not 550-5.7.25 point to the sending IP. As a policy, Gmail does not
accept messages 550-5.7.25 from IPs with missing PTR records. Please visit

Thanks, Daphne

A PTR (reverse DNS) record for your hostname must be set in the routers of your data center. Many data centers allow you to do that in their control panels. This is something that needs to be done outside the Plesk server.
