Publishing an index page with Sitebuilder?

We are hoping to use sitebuilder to publish root sites for clients, so that they do not have to browse to page1.html or whatever name they use for thier page.

I have tried to change thepage name to index within the site builder, but it says that name is reserved.. how do I set it so that the published site shows on the root of the domain when browsed?
 
It looked like my publishing settings were wrong, this is now resolved.
